Speakers and ePoster guidelines

Dear Speaker,

With reference to the forthcoming WCA 2016, please note that the following audio-visual material will be available for your presentation:

  • Single PowerPoint© projection (see below for standard configuration)
  • 16:9 format is recommended

Please note that only single projection will be available.

ePoster upload instructions have been sent to the presenter of each ePoster. To prepare your ePoster, please download the guidelines HERE.

You may also use the following poster template as a reference (non-mandatory) downloadable HERE.

SPEAKERS PREVIEW ROOM

All speakers and presenters are requested to check in at the Speakers Preview Room at least two hours before the session (or the day before for early morning sessions). The PowerPoint© presentation will be checked by congress technical staff and prepared for the lecture.

NOTE: workshops and PBLDs sessions are not connected to the Speakers Preview Room. If you are speaking in a workshop or a PBLD and wish to project some slides, please bring your presentation on a USB stick directly to the session room.

OPENING HOURS OF THE SPEAKERS PREVIEW ROOM

The Speakers Preview room is located in room N204-205, level 2. Access is restricted to faculty and is open at the following hours:

Sunday 28 August08:00 – 19:00
Monday 29 August 08:00 – 17:45
Tuesday 30 August07:00 – 17:45
Wednesday 31 August 08:00 – 17:45
Thursday 1 September08:00 – 17:45
Friday 2 September08:00 – 15:00

SESSION ROOM EQUIPMENT

The Speakers Preview Room and the main session rooms will be fully equipped with computers supporting Microsoft PowerPoint© including all video codecs.

Computers will be equipped as follows:
• Microsoft Windows 7 Professional Edition© with Microsoft Office 2013©

Therefore, when preparing an electronic presentation, please make sure that it is fully compatible with above mentioned standards. The organisers cannot be held responsible if a presentation fails to run because these standards were not observed.
